My objective was to create a logo for an album that includes music created by partnering with 3-5 artists using the theme/inspiration of anti-bullying. All proceeds are donated to an anti-bullying organization. Phase II of the program would include a fundraising event where the artists perform their music featured on the CD. The overall mission was to develop a different way to raise awareness for anti-bullying, people’s natural affinity for music and discovering new artists and genres, the power of social media and virality.

Students victimized by their peers were 2.4 times more likely to report suicidal ideation and 3.3 times more likely to report a suicide attempt than youth who reported not being bullied.

Students who experience bullying are at increased risk for poor school adjustment, sleep difficulties, anxiety, and depression.

More than half of bullying situations (57 percent) stop when a peer intervenes on behalf of the student being bullied.

The reasons for being bullied reported most often by students were based on looks (55%), body shape (37%), and race (16%).

19.6% of high school students in the US report being bullied at school in the past year. 14.8% reported being bullied online.

9 out of 10 LGBT students experienced harassment at school and online.

1 in 6 adults are bullied in the workplace.
